What is the best AI tool for teachers?
After plenty of years in the classroom, I’ve tested just about every new education tool that comes across my desk or computer. There have been many that simply fizzle out, others that overpromise and underdeliver (the worst kind). But recently I've found hands down one of the best tools for teachers. It's an AI-powered platform called TeachShare, and it has genuinely saved me hours of prep time and to my surprise, it’s dramatically boosted student engagement in class.
What I personally love about TeachShare isn’t that it isn't just another AI tool thrown together to ride the AI hype cycle. Instead, it's clear to me by the interface and tools available that it was designed by people who understand what teachers actually need, not just tech enthusiasts.
Why I think TeachShare is the best AI tool for teachers:
Creator Tool: Wow, this has been an absolute game-changer. The Creator Tool starts with a single prompt, just type in a topic like “ecosystems,” “fractions,” or “character development,” and it begins to auto-build a tailored teaching resource. You can refine it by grade level, standards, lesson phase (like intro or practice), source type, and even add specific “boosts” to differentiate for ELLs or gifted learners. It generates complete lessons, quizzes, interactive activities. Plus, after you generate your resource, it automatically creates a Teacher Guide for you, and it has really easy export options that allow you to it assign it online through TeachShare (which comes with an auto-grading feature), post it to Google Classroom, or download a PDF.
Marketplace: Unlike other platforms, TeachShare opens the door to a growing network of fellow educators. You can browse, share, and refine resources from other teachers who share their tried and true resources. Think of it like Teachers Pay Teachers meets ChatGPT.
Toolbox: The Toolbox is where it all comes together. TeachShare offers AI generators for just about anything a teacher needs. Think Lesson Plan Generator, Professional Email Generator, SMART Goals Generator, and Student Work Feedback Generator (it literally has EVERYTHING).
Honestly, it’s the first tool I’ve seen that feels like it was built for teachers because it covers SO many teacher needs and streamlines all the tools into one platform.
What is the best AI detection for teachers?
AI detection is tricky. And honestly, it's hard to navigate. I don't want to ban AI in the classroom (I'm literally writing a blog post on how teachers should use it!!), but I want to make sure AI is used in a productive and ethical manner by students. I’ve tried a few, and while none are perfect (and I don’t think we should rely on them alone), GPTZero has been the most reliable for me. Basically, GPTZero scans work and detects whether it was generated by an LLM like ChatGPT or Gemini.
Again that being said, I like to promote responsible AI use rather than just playing cat-and-mouse with detection. I want them to learn how to collaborate with AI without relying on it to do all the work. That’s a skill they’ll need for the future where AI is becoming increasingly prominent.
Which AI tool is best for education?
I spoke about it once before and I'm bringing it up again. If we’re talking holistically about education, not just grading papers or generating quizzes, I will always come back to TeachShare.
Why?
Because it supports:
Lesson Plan design
Differentiation (supporting students of different skill-levels and needs)
Student-centered instruction
Teacher well-being by saving planning time
Standards-aligned curriculum creation
Multimedia integration for engaging instruction (you can upload YouTube videos or online articles you want to base your resource on)
I've found that TeachShare gives teachers agency. It doesn’t try to replace us, it makes our work more impactful!
What is the best AI presentation maker for teachers?
When it comes to quickly turning ideas into clean and polished presentations for classroom use, SlidesAI has been a really useful tool in my rotation. While I still use TeachShare for lesson planning and classroom resources (they don't have a presentation maker yet, hoping for one soon!!), so I utilize SlidesAI to create slide decks for my classroom.
You simply input your content or even just a topic, and SlidesAI organizes it into a beautiful presentation with structured slides, headings, and relevant talking points. You can also choose your presentation tone (formal, persuasive, instructional) which is incredibly helpful when adapting for different grade levels and events
I've found it incredibly helpful for:
Prepping for parent-teacher nights
A student-friendly explainer
Presenting a professional development session to colleagues
SlidesAI saves a bunch of time time and reduces design fatigue, so you can focus more on the content and delivery.
So, what’s the takeaway?
With so many AI tools flooding the internet and now education space, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed (trust me I was too!). But the right tool doesn’t just save time, I've found that it actually makes teaching so much more fun, effective, and sustainable.
For me, the tool that has brought me so much more joy in teaching has been TeachShare. It blends smart AI features with teacher-centered design, giving us what we actually need: support, flexibility, and creative freedom. If you’ve been waiting for an AI tool that truly understands the classroom, I'd definitely encourage you to try it out!
